Who we are
Out of Bounds is a live golf scoring service operated by Ladies Love Golf Ltd ("we", "us") at score.outofboundsevents.com. We are the data processor. The event organiser who sets up the competition is the data controller and decides what information to collect about their players.
What we hold
- Organiser accounts: name, email address, and authentication provider (Google, Apple or email). If you pay for an event, Stripe holds your card details — we never see or store them.
- Player information: first name, last name, email address (if provided), handicap index, and golf scores entered during the event. Your organiser can see all of this.
- Scores and results: hole-by-hole gross scores, playing handicaps, and competition results. These are visible to other players in your event via the leaderboard.
Why we hold it
We process personal data to run the live scoring service that your organiser has set up. We do not use your data for marketing, advertising, profiling or any purpose beyond running the event.
Who can see your data
- Your event organiser can see all player information and scores for their events.
- Other players in your event can see names, handicaps and scores on the leaderboard.
- The public can see the leaderboard and results page if the organiser makes them available.
- We (Ladies Love Golf Ltd, trading as Out of Bounds) can access the data to provide technical support and run the service.
Your email
If you provide an email address when joining an event, it is used only for that event (for example, to send you your scoring link). Your organiser can see it. We do not add you to any mailing list.

How long we keep it
- Player email addresses are deleted 12 months after the event date.
- Scores and results are kept indefinitely so organisers can refer back to past events.
- Organiser accounts are kept until the organiser deletes their account or asks us to.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers, expiry dates, or CVVs. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data: stripe.com/privacy.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking. There is nothing to consent to beyond the session.
Your rights
You can ask your event organiser to correct or delete your data. You can also contact us directly at hello@outofboundsevents.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
To delete your organiser account entirely, go to Settings > Delete my account in the app, or visit outofboundsevents.com/delete-account.

Organisers and player data
Event organisers are the data controller for their players. Out of Bounds processes player data on the organiser's instruction. Data held: name, email address, handicap index, and scores. Players may ask either the organiser or Out of Bounds to remove their data at any time. Player data with no event activity for 24 months is automatically removed; the organiser is notified one month before removal.
